Our next virtual event will focus on surge workforce, the challenges of staffing during a pandemic, and funding the aged care sector.

The expert panel discussion will feature:

  • How to maintain skilled staffing levels during a crisis
  • What care providers doing differently at this time
  • What could be achieved with more funding
  • What could the Government do to support aged care service providers

The Breakfast Briefing will be held on Thursday 29 October 2020 from 8am to 9am AEST.

Caring for those who care

There has surely never been a time when our aged care workforce has needed more support and wider recognition of the valuable work performed.

To address and discuss these issues, we recently hosted a Breakfast Briefing where we explored the theme of Caring for Those Who Care, and Samantha Bowen, Principal Advisor with Leading Age Services Australia, spoke about the challenges of recruitment and retention into the sector.
